  • Follow the waymarks: WP (waypoint) - 700 - 756 - 77 - 78 - 73 - 74 - 75 - 76 - 757 - 113 - 114 - 115 - 72 - 71 - 70 - 7 - WP.
  • Start your walk at the centre of Bierbeek and make your way down a mysterious and lovely sunken path into the Mollendaalbos.
  • Disappear into the delightful world of mysterious, fairy-tale tree sculptures peering out at you on ‘Ad's Path’.
  • This forest has over 1.000 big oaks with trunks over 2.5 m wide.
  • You can find the oldest specimen by walking along Big Oak Alley. This monumental oak is more than 300 years old and has a trunk of more than 5 meters in circumference.
  • TIP: in the spring, the area around the thick oak is bathed in a beautiful white carpet of forest anemones.
