  • This route is partly on unpaved roads (55 km unpaved).
  • You start in Affligem and finish in true Roubaix style on the cycling track.
  • Take the crisp gravel roads and surprising cycle roads to ride to Steenhuffel, the village that is the home of the Palm brewery and the famous amber beer.
  • The hop fields past which you cycle are at their most beautiful at the end of summer. The hops on their graceful stakes are then almost ripe for picking and give off their soft, sweet fragrance.
  • You cycle past the splendid Botanic Garden in Meise, zip through the Kravaalbos in Asse and make your way along the Zenne and the Sluistoren in Weerde.
  • Is a rolling landscape with wide vistas your cup of tea? Are you fond of good gravel roads and a cobblestone stretch here and there? Don’t hesitate any longer and start exploring the Brabantse Kouters.
