There’s a green oasis of peace just a stone's throw away from Leuven at Linden Castle, also known as the ‘White Castle’.
In 2013, Urbain Vandeurzen purchased the castle grounds and converted the castle into a home with offices.
The gardens were also fully restored to their former glory.
The 11-hectares of hill slopes opposite the castle were transformed into a vineyard with a lofty pursuit in mind. Nothing less would do than the transformation of Linden's ‘southern flank’ into one of the most beautiful wine villages in Flanders.
Vandeurzen Castle Vineyard offers a selection of three white wines, Albarino, Grüner Veltliner and Chardonnay, and three red, Tempranillo, Pinot Noir and Lemberger.
