The Botanic Gardens in Meise are among the world’s largest botanical gardens. They currently cover 92 ha and are home to 18,000 plant species.
Boechout castle stands in the middle of the domain and was built in the 19th century.
The greenhouse complex, with the Victoria glasshouse, is one of the most beautiful in Europe and covers approximately 1 ha.
The domain also has an extensive scientific library and plant collection boasting an international reputation.
Light lunches and drinks are served in the Orangerie.
