  • Gaasbeek Park is 49 ha and dates back to the 17th century when the grounds were first developed. The park is currently owned by the Department of Forest and Wildlife (Agentschap voor Natuur en Bos).
  • Several historical buildings embellish the park grounds and allude to its rich history.
  • The park's beech trees are quite likely the tallest in all Belgium. If a stroll isn’t quite what you had in mind, you can always try fishing in one of the three large ponds.
